I am trying to find something written up in 5e about characters placed in either a coliseum or an arena?
My idea is to loosely base it off The Black Pits DLC from Baldur's Gate 1 Enhanced Edition...
This is what I currently have...
-Run by a Devil name Tistiphane.
-Player's are in a 'hall' with other combatants that live in luxury.
-No gear/items cannot be brought in from outside.
-Gear/items can be purchased from imps for 'tokens' earned based on performance in battle.
-A gear/item tier prevents players from buying a high level item too early.
-Players can pay a gynosphinx in 'tokens' to give them a clue to the type of creature involved in the event and what the event will be. (race, capture the flag style, battle (party vs. group), one-on-one, times survival)
