D&D General Ideas for a three-hour low-level Thanksgiving adventure?

Here's a cool monster you could throw in (CR 4):

Turkey hunt! A group of low-level adventurers must track down Thanksgiving Dinner and bring it to the table. The whole village is depending on them to bring a bird big enough to feed everyone!

Use stats for an Axe Beak.

The player characters are orcs who have to brave monster infested wilderness in order to bring desperately needed food to a starving human colony.

The orcs have to bring pie?

Sorry that's a D&D pun, not a Thanksgiving one.

The Abyssal rampaging turkey is already cooked.

Every monster in the dungeon it ran into is feast themed starting with the gelatinous red cylinder, mashed potatoes with gravy are gray ooze or ochre jelly. A pile of greenbeens or asparagus could be a bunch of reskinned out of water octopuses for the tentacle attacks. Reskinned sharks to be slices of pie because they are slightly pie sliced in shape?

Not sure what would work for dinner rolls.

Any suggestions? So far, all I've got is a rampaging abyssal turkey that the heroes have to follow back to its lair, which they discover is a ruined site (wizard tower, tomb, other) that provides a short dungeon crawl to pillage.

So the Trump transition team is looking at the possibility of charging current and former military officers involved in the withdrawal from Afghanistan with charges up to and including treason. It's hard for me to look at this as anything other than a tool for Trump to purge the military of anyone who isn't sufficiently loyal to him.

WTH is this doing here? Are you confused about where you are? I mean, politics in general are not permitted on the site. How that became 'post a random news item about Donald Trump in a thread about Thanksgiving D&D adventures', I don't know. I can only assume you thought you were posting in a different thread on a different site,

Your group is asked for help escorting an inebriated priestess back to her nunnery before dawn.
Start off your group is on its way to the village when they encounter a short elf and a elderly mage trying to carry an unconscious woman dressed in armour.
Encountering them the wizard attempts to bluff his way past them, but the elf openly asks for their help.
"The priestess Aneela had conned his help for a meeting with a visiting mage"
The wizard attempts to butt in but is clearly embarassed and seemingly drunk himself.
"I think she charmed him and got herself charmed by the visitor who called himself Barnabus Glare though his goblins henchmen called him Bargle..."
"Anyway I had to deal with the goblins as Barney led her inside and we pursued them and the other mage ordered her to attack us. I employed a gas pellet that knocked her out and he caught enough to as you can see still look like he's drunk," he sheepishly shrugs.
"Could you escort both of them back to the monastery, they should pay you for your trouble.
I can't as I need to double back to make sure they didn't send anyone after us,"he asks.

The trick isn't the trip to the monastery which is next to the village they're travelling to its just that they will run into guards who will help them with that, but will be asked to stay overnight whilst they check on the pair they're escorting.

Next morning they're asked to investigate where this meeting took place to see if they can confirm what was done to the pair as the elf has conveniently doesn't want to explain himself.


So they could either go after the elf, remembering where they met ask any of the monks about the local quickly learning of the ruin atop the hill which is the only complex suhc a meeting could take place.

Now remember the 80's red box solo adventure?

Run that for them with the goal of discovering the complex is a goblin base under the control of the Dark Knight and Bargle is his vizier.

The priestess charmed the wizard intending to use him as a sacrifice to join the Dark Knight, but the elf's interference caused the Vizier to charm her disrupting her own attempt to charm him causing her to pass out when the elf threw his gas pellet at her which was just a flour based bomb and wrongly assumed he did something wrong so got them to the monastery as fast as possible.

By the time they return the priestess has awakened and fled the monastery, the wizard is still grumpy and the elf still refusing to go to the monastery although if they get into trouble he will help them out but is a rookie like them.
