Ideas for an uber-munchkin?

Thri-Kreen
Fighter 10

Feats:
Multiattack
Multiweapon fighting
Exotic Weapon (Bastard Sword)
Monkey Grip (for the smaller hands)
Improved Critical (Bastard Sword)

Equipment:
4 +1 Keen Bastard Swords
1 Cloak of Displacement
some other protection magic

You then have a character that has 5 attacks per full attack action... 4 at their Highest attack bonus that do 1d10+Str mod and crit on a 15-20 and 1 at second attack bonus that does the same damage...and there is only a 50% chance of hitting him even on a successful attack!!!

he would only be a fighter 7

he would get 4 attacks at his highest -4 and a second attack at -9
(all the weapons are the same size)

Spike Chain Fighter. A pretty abusable weapon.

Either that, or build a Ranger/Fighter/Barbarian, dual wielder w/ Longbow as backup; or build an Archer fiend, with sword as backup. Dunno. I'll try building one tonite or tomorrow and see how well I can stack one.

that would be great

i guess one of the party members has already decided to be the non-psionic thri-kreen fighter that is mentioned above. a ranged character would be a big help, but with only four people, someone is gonna have to pull double duty....

I'm thinking a fighter 5/sorcerer 5. Take spells that have touch attacks or ranged touch attacks, buy as many masterwork arrows as you can carry, and use them to deliver the attacks. Of course, you'll also want a melee weapon for when your spells run out, like maybe a hammer with some sort of enchantment on it, like sleep.

After viewing what reapersaurus has been able to do with shield bashing, I recommend you observe some of the sick pups he has made in the Rogue's Gallery. Fighter-Palladins with improved shield bash, shield charge and divine shield do some truly sick things. Add in power lunge to double you str bonus on a charge and you damage will very much be in the range of sick. Also pick up Rhino Hide armor for that extra multiple on charges. Thus on a shield charge you can do x3 damage with some huge bonuses. Depending on you DM's inclinations, you might be able to use a spiked shield, while being a halfling riding a dog. Then you could have quad damage on a spirited charge.

I'd try to get reaper's attention, he is the master of this after all.

One idea would be to be a flying, hasted, displaced halfling sorcerer wielding 9th-level wands of magic missile. You can easily get your AC into the low thirties and plop a 50% miss chance down on top of that; when hasted, you'll do an average of 35 points of damage per round, with only spell resistance to defend against it. Put 30K into the wands to get 200 charges, or get craft magic wand and put 15K into them.

Be the party's buffer: get cat's grace, fly, haste, endurance, improved invisibility, and similar spells.

Purchase several scrolls of cloudkill, and take wall of force as your 5th level spell. Use these two in rapid-fire combination to take out big non-spellcasting enemies: no save for the wall of force, and almost certain death for folks without teleportation magic.

Since you're a sorcerer, leverage that high charisma into a cohort cleric with a ridiculous CON who'll cast shield other on you. You should be able to afford a 9th-level cohort, and probably a couple of 2nd- and a third-level ally. Leave the first-levels behind; the second and third levels can be rear guard rogues with high spot, listen, and hide checks who'll carry gear for you.

Feats you'll want:
Dodge
Spellcasting Prodigy
Craft Wand (get these wands for cheap!)

Spells you'll want:
Dispel Magic
Fly
Haste
Solid Fog
Dimension Door
Wall of Force
Cat's Grace
Invisibility
Glitterdust
Rope Trick
Magic Missile

I've wanted to use this concept for awhile; I think he'd be fun to play, and deadly in an arena.

If you are using sword and sorcery books DO NOT over look spells in relics and rituals. There is a 5th level cleric spell in there that basically turns you into a lycanthrope of your choosing for 1 day/level. Were-tigers kick arse.

I like the strategem, and I've seen it work quite effectively--but even more effectively when instead of a sorcerer it's a cleric with the magic domain. That allows another +8 to AC for wearing full plate (not counting enhancement bonuses, of course). Load up on wands of haste, shield, fly, and naturally tons of artillery.

If you're looking to go the munchkin route, the 3e cleric is always one of the best places to start :D
