D&D 5E Ideas for magical candies that emulate potions from the DMG?

I would think that candies are more for flavor effects and not that useful in combat. Although I can see something that makes you invisible for a round or can jump 30ft be handy.

I can see mostly candy that turns your tongue or even face another color for a while or change your voice for a few rounds. Maybe something cool such as placing the candy into a cup turns it into a flavored coffee or tea.

I love enspelled food. I think for candies, they should be quick effects - bonus to the next attack, a breath weapon (peppermints giving you cold breath for example), etc. I think other things that give buffs, like cold resistance, would be more substantial - in a campaign I ran, they found a lemon cake that gave cold resist. Halflings used cooking magic, it seems.

Side note: if you're interested in the topic, I wrote into Ken and Robin Talk About Stuff some years back and asked about magical food/cooking, and Ken Hite and Robin Laws talked about the topic for a good 15 minutes. Fittingly, it was October 30, 2020 -
