Ideas for Power Card Accessories

So it hit me that as handy as power cards may be, they're going to create a great mess on everyone's tables. I can just see them constantly being tossed about by wind and fans and always getting knocked by clumsy players manoeuvring to their seats or being in constant danger of attack from Mountain Dew.

Then I got a bright idea. I'll get to that later. But I also figured other people must have some neat ideas for organising their power cards and that with the M:tG connection, there might also be products I (and many others who've never engaged in the phenomenon) am not aware of. Hence the thread.

My idea was simply to have a specially made A4 size folder. One of those plastic covered ones with the hard cardboard inside, minus the paper clip at the top which is just annoying. On one side you could have flippable sheathes for your character sheets, which you could use dry erase markers on so you wouldn't even have to mess up your (character) sheets!

On the other side, have three rows of card slots, colour coordinated for the powers :) Not sure how deep you'd need to go but I do recall there being a hard limit on how many At-Will powers you could have, even including items so I'm sure you could fit enough slots and still have every card's power be visible (assuming the power is listed at the top of the card).

Slide out, flip over, slide back in when you've used it.

Wish there was something like this already. My craft skills aren't up to par on this one I don't think :)

I'm either going to download or make my own Power Card template, and then print them, cut them out, and slip them in front of Magic the Gathering cards in their protective sleeves. Voila, instant Power Card.

I'm not sure you could get this as one product. It seems to be a combination of a plastic sleeve for a regular-sized piece of paper (for the character sheet). Then you get a plastic sheet which holds 9 Magic cards (this is very common, used to hold cards in a binder).

The first should be available at any business store like Staples, etc. The second can be found at any hobby store that sells Magic cards.

Fiery Dragon may make Power Cards. More info as it becomes available. Art may be involved.
Not that I have anything against advertising, but... err... what does this have do to with ACCESSORIES for power cards?

As for the 9 slot sheathes, they're nice but even a 1st-level character almost fills one up which will mean a lot of flipping. Is there anything that has slots like in a wallet?

I think those nine slot pages would work well. If you use dry/wet erase markers, you don't even need to flip things, just draw a big X over top of things you've used. If you make your own cards, you can just put a big underscore where the [w] would be in damage, and write the damage in using a marker.

I don't know if I'll use power cards however. They seem cool, but when they start getting levels and items, they'll be unwieldly. Though I guess not as unwieldly as a standard Magic game...

I thought "Power Card Accessories" included power cards.
If not, I apologize.

As for advertising, it isn't, since there's nothing set right now.
