Dogs would be great gamers

Border collies would be the best GMs though a little neurotic.
Terriers would be the twitch gamers recruited into the fold, already wanting to go down into the dungeon and kill stuff for it's loot. Getting them back out of the dungeon would be a problem.
Chihuahuas would be the annoying little kid gamers. Munchkins all. Chihuahuas would so have a half-celestial Paladin/Assassin/Warlock/Druid.

Like Bear Claw, or Apple Fritter. I can see an Apple Fritter being a barbarian or maybe a Duskblade. You would have those French Cruellers being wizards.

I would not want to play with a bagel. I bet they would be those smelly, unkempt gamers that are always asking for special attention.

I see the Danish as being experts of various types since there are many types of danish: nut, almond, chocolate chip, fruit, streusel, custard cup, etc. The chocolate covered donut would have to be an Aristocrat.

Cats would play just about anything as long as there were lots of dice rolling involved- OTOH, they might just become croupiers.

I could see dogs as gamers...Border Collies, regardless of system, would be the ultimate rules lawyers.

You bring up a good point, but here is where your logic fails:

According to Dragon Magazine 283947, the Danish is stat-ed as DEX +2, CHR +2, CON -1. Which would actually make the Danish a better Sorcerer.
