If you are ethereal, can you attack into the Material Plane without any problem (such as miss chance)? If not, what are some ways (feats, spells, class abilities) which would allow you to?

Nope, you cannot attack into the material plane and I don't think there are any ways to do so, except when you actually become non-ethereal, which is kinda defying the point.

An ethereal creature can’t affect the Material Plane, not even magically.

I don't have by books with me, but I believe that Transdimensional Spell will allow you to affect any neighboring planes with a spell.

I know what he said, but I think you are confused. I am asking if "Transdimensional Spell" is a "spell" or is a "metamagic feat". Such as the following:

Empower SPELL is a metamagic feat
Extend SPELL is a metamagic feat
Enlarge SPELL is a metamagic feat
Heighten SPELL is a metamagic feat
Maximize SPELL is a metamagic feat
Natural SPELL is a feat
Quicken SPELL is a metamagic feat
Silent SPELL is a metamagic feat
Still SPELL is a metamagic feat
Widen SPELL is a metamagic feat

So my question still stands... Is Transdimentional Spell a metamagic feat, or is it the name of an actual spell somewhere?

"Transdimensional Spell" is a feat in Complete Arcane. Sorry I don't have the book myself so I can't tell you exactly what it does.

Transdimensional Spell (Complete Arcane p84) is (as I thought it was) a metamagic FEAT:

You can cast spells that affect targets lurking in coexistent planes and extradimensional spaces whose entrances fall within the spell's area.

Unfortunately the feat works the reverse. It allows those on the material to effect ethereal creatures, not the other way around

Unfortunately, Ghost Touch only works with incorporal beings, not ethereal ones.
