Among other thinsg, the guy selling the sword has his facts seriously wrong.

On one side of the blade is struck a Cross Potent,or a Cross of Jerusalem,which was the sign adopted by crusaders including Knights Hospitallers, and Knights Templars at the outset of the 1st Crusade circa 1096.

Neither of those orders of monastic knights existed at that point, tehy only came into existence after the 1st Crusade.

.From the excellent condition of this sword,it shows that originally it was probably a river,or perhaps a tomb find,as opposed to having been excavated.

Neither of those environments are likely to result in 'excellent condition,' though obviously individual circumstances coudl alter that. A river find especially is likely to be in bad shape.

Besides, you'd have to be mad to buy it for 7 grand. It looks like its hardly the best piece of workmanship in the first place.
