As the robin heralds the spring, so is summer ushered in by a wave of flying ants engulfing Clay.

As soon as the ants started hitting me I got a vision of your drawing in my head old man...

Again?

Surely next year, you'll think to spray some raid in there first :D

Then we can see another kind of dance!

Don't suppose you still have the drawing around anywhere? I could use another good laugh.

You know what kills me? Those ants had so much last year, they've been sitting there JUST WAITING for you to come back and send them on their annual airborne adventure. I bet the ants who were there last year were really lording it over the newbies:

"Yeah, you think you're prepared, but let me tell you, when he lets out that girl scout scream and starts in on his little jig, you'll be hanging on for dear life."

They probably had a little ant countdown ("Get ready, everyone! Here he comes!") and were organized into little squads (each with its own team cheer), all ready to go. They've been planning this all year, probably brought out-of-town ants in (you know, a few keynote speakers before the big event, "This Year's Air-Conditioner Explosion Party is brought to you by Miller's Brewing.").

I mean, they're ants. How much more excitement are they likely to get in a year?
