If you made your own RPG company

For my part, I think the "Dragon Hunters" animated movie (with Forest Whitaker) would make a great fantasy RPG setting.

The Anime series "Claymore" could make an interesting RPG setting. Sort of like Fantasy Supers meets point of light in the darkness.

If I could figure out how to make a "Top Gear" RPG I think I could be on to something. Come on, new ridiculous car challenges every session, who doesn't love that.

For stuff that is available out there, I wouldn't mind grabbing the Serenity License.

I'll take D&D, Battletech, Call of Cthulhu, Rifts and Alternity.

Rifts could do with a vigorous editing job; cool concepts, just poor presentation and bad mechanics.

For D&D, I'd put PDFs back on the market and split the game back out into a "Basic" and "Advanced" version. To be honest, I'd be more inclined to base the Advanced on 3E (and Basic on BECMI), though ther aresome things I'd take a cue on from 4E - namely minions and elements of monster/NPC design.

For Alternity, I'd clean up the XP system and a few minor tweaks then push it as my generic sci-fi system, whilst attempting to ressurect the Star*Drive, Gamma World and Star Frontiers with the line, perhaps attempting to optoin in Star Wars and Star Trek for the line.

Finally, Battletech - I'd just keep the line active and make sure there are plenty of plastic mechs (also usable with Alternity) available for use.
