She composed all the music for both television GITS's (SAC, 2nd Gig).



As for the live action movie - I'm not excited. I can see more ruination than awesomeness, but then, I'm a big skeptic on such things. I very much hope I'm wrong.

I'm not convinced she could make a good Major.

I went hunting the other day, and from what I could find, the Major is supposedely around 5' 8" in a 25 year old synthetic body, while actually being somewhere in her thirties. Lacey Chabert is only 5' 3". Sophia Bush, on the other hand, who from her IMDB picture certainly looks the part, is 5' 6 1/2", which is close enough for me. She's also 25 this year. That leaves the questions, can she bulk up, and can she act?

See this is why I said maybe to Bush. I think, if she did a lot of strength training, she might be able to pull it off, especially if she wears boots that increase her height by 2 inches.

I just honestly can't think of any one currently in Hollywood that could pull it off. At least not to my current knowledge.

I dunno. The Major to me has always seemed kinda petite. Her appearance sort of belied the actual power of her cyborg body. The shell doesn't even neccessarily have to appear that toned to be really strong.
