Ignore a thread?

Prescience. If you know someone is going to annoy you and will become a mod, you can ignore them before they become one.
It's worked in a few cases for diaglo - he just has to perfect this ability.

Ah, well then... he needs a supermod/admin to 1) de-mod the mod, 2) add the user to D's list, and then 3) re-mod the mod.
