Personality
Deviant to what might be thought to their nature, unlike their knack for clockwork they make no aims to follow a code in life, nor look to any big picture. Whilst the worst may flat out refuse to stay behind the bars of law and order, they are not without law, and order. Ilamei like to know how things work and will gladly delve into gears and springs to discover how an object does what it does. Their mind is excellent at deduction, and makes hard puzzles seem easy, as they can bring facts and figures in the forefront of their mind whenever the need arises. Contrary to what might be seen as a chaotic outlook they have an uncanny ability to think in straight lines, and when they care to be, be narrowly focused. Another facet of their personality is a pragmatic core, always trying to make of the best of a bad situation.

Physical description
Ilamei heights range between the very small, 5’8” to larger then average, 6’8”, are gaunt, pale, but have rubbery, gristly looking skin and only the fewest hairs on their heads. The feature that makes them distinct however is at the elbow, where their arm splits off into two separate forearms, one with a tree-gripping claw, and the other with spindly fingers to pry into dead bark and pull out grubs and sap. Their feet have adapted for climbing and have two black claws at the front, and a tendon that stretches from the front of the foot to the back that acts as an early warning system by picking up vibrations in the ground.

Relations
The Ilamei have no special relation to the races, however there was a great distaste for the enslavement of Kyei by many Ilamei in various countries.

Diet
Ilamei are primarily vegetarians, feeding on foraged fruits and vegetables. However they gain their protein from bugs.

Homeland
They tend live in forests but many have moved towards the more inner cities.

Religion
Still arranging gods in campaign setting.

Language
Ilamei have a unique language that has a fluid nature to it.

Names
Ilamei use names as a title, the first name may refer to whether or not they are the firstborn, born in a certain date, under a moon. Typical names include
Male: Elcor, Celnor, Rews, Uor and Nîoh
Female: Lio, Tîr, Paio, Ail, Jorb and Fye

Racial traits:
+2 Int -2 Con, Ilamei have a shrp mind but are mostly weak bodied.
Movement rate of 30ft
Low-light Vision Ilamei can see twice as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar conditions of poor illumination. They retain the ability to distinguish colour and detail under these conditions.
+8 to climb checks
+2 to disable device
Tremor sense: The Ilamei can detect creatures within 15 foot of them, they cannot pin point their position.
Special attacks: Through the use of the climbing hand they can deliver an unarmed attack that deals lethal damage.
The favoured class of the Ilamei is Expert.

Looking back the Ilyameitr were far to sterotyped, I've gone back and opened them up to more variety. How does it look? I'm a bit lost as to what to give them mechanically, but the flavour feels much better now. Can I get some advice and suggestions please?

Oh, and heres the original: Ilyameitr

It's an interesting race (with a nice picture), but I'm not quite sure what you want in feedback. The power is probably fine, and the mechanics mesh nicely with the flavor text --- I might have given a slightly smaller bonus on Climb checks, but as wizards and experts I don't expect either ranks in Climb or high Strength, so +8 isn't really out of line. I tend to distrust mental bonuses on races without LA or racial HD, but that's personal preference more than anything.

If you're looking for pedantic feedback on the presentation and grammar, I can do it for you. That aside, the race looks good.

Is it just that it's ok that no one has commented? Not boring? Cool, I was trying for a kind of abnormal, orriginal creature. The plus to climb is just short of a climb speed, I could give the Take 10 (20?) and the rest of it with a reduced bonus...

Merci, pour ton aide. :p

I think that's it; it's pretty good, and there's nothing obviously lacking. That was certainly the reason I didn't comment the first time around.

C'est rien; j'aime aider ici.

Oh, I was hoping to get something more then and ok. I really wanted to make them alien, I might go back slightly (reagarding flavour) to a mechanical mindset, although how farback I can go without affecting the stats I'll have to find out.

Tu sont un parle natal de francais? Je ne suis pas.....
