I'm afraid we've suffered a loss

I'm sorry to hear about your friend. It's really terrible to lose someone that you've known for so long and have had so many memorable moments with.

Thank all of you for the kind words and support. It helps more than you know.

I just got back from Ted's place. Another friend and I went and fed his pets and picked up some clothes for his mother to take to the funeral home.

We also returned a video he had rented from the Blockbuster up the street. Smokey and the Bandit. ?

Last night, just a few hours before we heard the news, a group us sat down to watch The Gamers. We all commented on how Ted would think it was funny and figured that we would maybe watch it again on Tuesday after the climactic session of our current campaign. Maybe we'll still get together and watch it and maybe talk about some of Ted's more stellar gaming moments.

Anyway, thank you all again. Now, more than ever, it's good to be an ENWorld member. Maybe after a few more days go by, I'll point his mother here and show her the support this board has, even for one of its lesser-known members.

My condolences...to you, his family and friends...no words will adequately convey my sympathies.

13 years ago the best friend I ever had passed away suddenly from a massive heart attack...he was 19 at the time...had an enlarged heart...those of us who knew him get together and remember every couple of years...and tip a bottle of expensive scotch and game, in his honor.

Anyway, my thoughts are with you in this time.

Rel,

Sorry to here of the loss. I think most of us want to know about our virtual hommies both good and bad. Smokey and the Bandit..............???

I didn't know him, but he sounded like a stellar guy. Good luck with the grief man.

And yeah, it does sound like a possible brain aneurysm; a girl I knew had one about a month ago or so; she was all of 16 years old.
