I'm at the end of my rope

Alright, so I know I've seen AT LEAST one list or generator of names (for NPCs, towns, etc.) on the Internets that let you generate a name in the style of a specific culture or ethnicity when I wasn't looking for or had no need for them. (I especially could use one that has exotic or highly specific cultures, eg: Aztec, Aborigonie, Korean, Icelandic, etc.) I'm making a rather cosmpolitan world (IE: One part of the world is Hindu-esque, another has an Ancient Greek, another Thai, etc.) and I am horrible at making non- names, and I want the names to reflect the feel of the world.

The generators I've found on my loyal friend-occasionally-turned-arch-nemesis Google are horrible, I mean really bad. I refuse to drag my 56k modem (on AOL of all things) through the vapid pop-up and banner-ad riddled baby naming sites on Google to find a vaguely Japanese-sounding name that's cool when I want one.

I am donning the DM cap agian for the first time in a long time and this is the part where I feel overwhelmed, so also in this post, please post the best NPC generators, town generators, map generators, and anything-to-make-my-job-as-a-rusty-DM-a-little-easier generators you know of.

Sorry if this is feeling a little ranty. I'm writing this late at night on a threefold sleep deprivation/caffeine/sugar high, also, this is my first post on this board in a long time as well.

Tried Pig Latin?

I suggest you take common names and convert them to Pig Latin. You'll get a variety of names, but they will all seem to be derived from a common language.

For example, Sam translates to Amsay.

My name is pig latin is: Ischray
