I've stayed away from the forums for quite a while, out of shame mostly, so I thought it'd be good to post an official-type thing explaining where I've been (and who I am, for those that wouldn't remember)
To make a long story short, I started up D&D Wargaming on the play-by-post boards... spent a good month developing the rules, about a month or so playing the game if I recall correctly. Then my mid-term grades came in, and if I didn't start studying harder, I could flunk out of college. I dropped everything but college, but most importantly, I neglected to tell anyone.
And so I felt like a downright jerk. I mean, I had something along the lines of 12 players who were as into that game as I was... it was REALLY in depth, and quite fascinating to go through. I've very fond memories of running it. And I'm really sorry I just dropped it like that, and definitely feel like a downright @$$ for leaving without telling anyone.
Anyway, classes have been out for a while now, and I've just founnd the courage to return to the place I deserted. Just felt the need to make this public apology/explanation thing.
