I'm Dying to Try...

I have several games that I own that I would like to run or play:

1. Traveller anything
2. Runequest II or Legend
3. Anima
4. Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay (2nd or 3rd ed)
5. Any of the Warhammer 40k rpgs

Dread! I've run the game over a half dozen times, but haven't gotten to be a player once. It kills me to see the tower and not be able to poke and prod it.

Also, I'm looking forward to the Warhammer 40K game that my wife hopes to start soon.

I miss playing Deadlands and Paranoia, those were always good times.

Everything I've heard about Unknown Armies sounds awesome. It seems like a dark, weird urban fantasy game with a good sense of humor. Who wouldn't want to play a character who gets magic powers from watching TV or getting wasted? It's also the only RPG book that starts the combat chapter with a page of prose that reminds readers how stupid and horrible violence is.

Any experiences with Unknown Armies? I'm thinking about hunting down a copy...

We played a bunch of UA and we love it. Very dark with interesting ideas and twists. Especially love the magic rules.

Played two long campaigns as the players learning to become adepts. Also played by rolling all the dice for the characters, which is not in the rules but which made the horror and strangeness loom larger.

I'm looking to playtest both Dungeon World and 5e this month - to compare them and see which one fits what I want better.
