I think I can speak for most of us here, but the image of any one of us (me included) running around naked is not something I need dancing around in my head right now. [shudder] :D

You could have let it go just like everyone else.... ;)

But truthfully it's nice we don't game at my place anymore. It would stink if someone stopped by a little early. :D

As I posted to another [META] thread, I bought my community membership about a month ago in order to use the search feature (in this case, to find some nice quotes about one of my products that is going to print).

Originally, my goal was to support Russ by getting the small d20 publishers to get together and pay for his airfare to GenCon Indy 2003. IMO, Russ has done AMAZING things for the small d20 publishers, and we all owe him a debt of gratitude. I figured that with that kind of support output, I shouldn't be buying a community membership, as that would be $25 less that I could spend on the airfare.

But then the need to SEARCH finally struck home.

(Although I still want to arrange for his flight to GenCon Indy 2003)

I support this site with at least $25 annually because...

** It's the best d20 site on the web.
** I really, really wanted a custom title.
** The search function is cool.
** So that I could participate in threads like this one, and not feel like an interloper. The sense of belonging is wonderful ;).

P.S. Jello is NOT meant to have fruit in it!!

I want to be a community supporter, I truly do. But the world of paypal and credit cards is not an option I have, so I'm foiled any time I have the cash to make such a contribution.

That's the boat I wa sin till Pirate Cat suggested I mail him a check and it worked great. Obviously, being in the same Country helps with that.

Search function is good. I particularly like the ability to click on the search button beneath someone's post, to search for that person. Very convenient, and instantly gives me a background on the person (including *glee* the first few lines of all of those posts).

Really, though, I put in the dollars because this is one of the few communities on the web with this level of civility and intelligence in the same place. And I was coming by an awful lot :).

Yeah, the 8 bucks a year is ... [is tapped on shoulder][whispers aside]what do you mean if I had what'd longer it'd be less?[...well, whatever the price its well worth it.

No, I'm not going to buy Morrus suspenders...

Really, no joking aside - considering how long I've been lurking on these boards, I figured it was time to join up.

Especially since I was approaching the magic post count number (which I will not mention here). Every time I get close to that number it seems like the boards have to close down and move, and my post count gets reset. Let's hope the charm works...

He did the same for me. Poor guy must spend all his time running check cashing errands. Don't want to put him on the spot, but talk to him and he may do the same for you.

I gave 30$, 25$ to the site and 5$ to PC, cause i though he should get something out of providing such a service. He may have passed in on to the site or he may have kept it. Either way is completely fine with me.
