I'm late! What's up with ENnies voting?

As usual, I am a frikkin' broke 22 year-old whose only D&D purchases this year were . . . hmm. I got the revised PHB last August, and I bought . . . no, the last pdf I got was last March. Um, Dragon magazine? I got a free copy of Eberron at Origins (yippee!), and I wrangled Wulf into giving me a free copy of Grim Tales, but I spent more money on toner for printing character sheets this year than I did on actual products*.

Yeah, so basically, I've seen neither head nor tail of any of the ENnies nominees except Grim Tales, so what should I do? This is an election year, after all, and I feel it's my civic duty to vote, but unlike politics, I can't just hop to the different party's websites and read their stances. Being an educated voter in this election costs money which I cannot afford to spend (though you can help me by visiting www.RPGNow.com and purchasing something from E.N. Publishing's fine line of pdf products).

How can I make a vote in good conscience? Anyone care to give me some insight into what I've missed?

*This is not precisely true. I used the Emory University's computer labs to print for free. But I had to provide my own paper.

So I vote A+ for Grim Tales, and then just abstain from everything else? Almost seems silly.

*grin* How long do I have for this, if it's not too much to ask?

No idea, ask Morrus. The Ennies are next week, so I dont expect the voting to last more then the end or late middle of this week.

Its not silly at all because the ratings are averaged in.

This probably isn't the thread for it, but next year we might want to offer samples of the covers for the cover art award.

Just a thought.

The list of nominees is here: http://www.enworld.org/forums/news.php?page=ennies but you probably already knew that.

There's stuff I liked and stuff I didn't like. I just went with what I knew and didn't worry so much about leaving a lot of "never saw its"
