Funny, I often make reservations for (party # +1) under the name "Godot" and tell the wait staff that we're waiting for our friend. Usually we hear "Go-Dot, party of 4, your table is ready." My two friends and I go get our table, to my amusement and their exasperation.

I've also made reservations as Guildenstern. And sometimes Rosencrantz.

We had a big group who went out to dinner together once. I went to the hostess stand to request a table, at which point I realized that there were thirteen of us. I gave my name as "Iscariot". I don't think she got it.
