Is anyone else pissed off that Christmas has been turned into something that a huge amount of people celebrate, but can't mention in public? It's become practically illegal to sing chrismas carols in this country. I'm not christian, but I like the music. What's the big deal? KWANZA gets more public recognition than Christmas. KWANZA!!!
I could care less what direction people take their own religions, but a huge percentage of people here being Christian can't even put up decorations without some dumb schmuck telling them that it offends them. WHO GIVES A HORSE'S HINDSECTION IF IT OFFENDS YOU!
And what the hell is up with taking "under god" out of the pledge of alliegance? The vast majority of people in America are religious, so it makes sense that it's there. If you don't like it, don't sing that part. I am also sick to death of morons yammering on and on about separation of church and state. IT IS NOT IN THE CONSTITUTION! The constitution only states that there will be no state-sponsored religion. THAT'S ALL!!! The argument is NOT VALID, so STOP USING IT!!
If people want to argue against a certain practice, fine. But don't use an argument based on a fictional phrase, and find one other than "I'm offended!!"
Y'know what? A lot of things offend me. But people have the freedom to express themselves, and if you don't like what they're saying, you don't have to listen.
