I'm sick of character sheets that look like tax forms!

Check my sig for an example of my D&D sheet I use. I adapted the D&D sheet for my SW game. It's rather taxy but much clearer than the WOTC sheets.

I *love* the retail ones, but am not willing to pay money for them...yet...

Especially since they are most likely .pdf files. ARGH!

Thanks Dregan, an excel spreadsheet is perfect. maybe not pretty, but I can *type* info in and print it out. And then update it later and print it out.

I have one for Star Wars that lets you input the info, and they it prints out a form with all the calculations hidden. So all you get is the AC. (not 10+dex+armor+size+etc.) Makes for a more streamlined sheet.

No Problem, I Built this one from the ground up, It does almost all of the Calculation for you like:
The built in Point Buy Calculator
Defensive or Offensive Fighting
All the Skills
It acounts for Check Penalty, Encumberance, Speed Changes
You can put any modifiers in that you should need.
it auto calculates XP
it calculates bonus spells and spell DC
it calculatessize modifiers for AC, your Attack Mod and your Grapple

Basically you just have to enter it the bare basics and your done.

If you find any problems let me know. but enjoy. :p

Eh, the Gangus sheets are certainly pretty but they don't have nearly enough room for anything other than the barest details; I need a lot, lot more room than that. The Scarred Lands sheet is pretty nice; I'll have to give it a try.

Yeah, I want the sheet to look fairly functional. That way I can glance down and see what I need to roll right away, with all the math laid out for me in case the situation changes. I'll sometimes do a 'pretty' sheet by doing the character in statblock form, then putting a picture on the page with it.

Wouldn't the proper thing to do would be to use the art sheet as the first page, and the other dozen to count and weigh your equipment, magic, history, inventory, titles, treasure, contacts, reputation, and plot leads to a T?

Yeah, that would work. I love those illustrated sheets, but at the moment, I'm not comfortable spending $65 for the complete set. It's on my list of cool future purchases, though.

Oh how I wish I had more artistic talent!
