Falling Icicle
Adventurer
It seems to me that getting the Second Implement feat at the Paragon tier is pretty much a no-brainer. But I've been thinking, what about those wizards that want to really specialize in one type of implement rather than gain mastery with another? So I created this feat. Tell me what you think.
Implement Specialization [Wizard]
Tier: Paragon
Prerequisite: Wizard, Arcane Implement Mastery class feature
Benefit: Your Arcane Implement Mastery ability improves, as specified below, depending upon the implement you chose to master.
Orb: You can use the Orb of Imposition ability to extend the duration of an effect created by any of your wizard spells by 1 turn, not just your at-will spells.
Staff: Your Staff of Defense ability now grants you a +2 bonus to AC instead of the normal +1 bonus.
Wand: Your Wand of Accuracy ability also grants you a bonus equal to your Dexterity modifier to the damage dealt by the spell. Spells that don't deal damage don't gain this benefit.
Special: You can't gain this feat if you have the Second Implement feat, or vice versa.
