I just don't believe it.

You folk are incredible. I can't believe that you'd do this, especially at such short notice and in such generous amounts. As I've been scrambling to deal with unanticipated tax and work stuff in the last few days, I've been mostly away from the boards, and this has really blind-sided me. Thank you, SO MUCH - and let me know what I can do to show my appreciation . I had just concluded that there was no way I was going to be able to make the con, and the irony hadn't escaped me, but I was stuck - and then you guys did this.

It's funny. In a lot of ways, EN World is like a big family. I'm incredibly proud of that.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go make some plane reservations and do a happy dance.

Well it is all worth it after seeing the truly giddy response from PC. I have money but no vacation time, but I can already feel myself getting sick and having to call into work on Gencon Friday, drive 4 hours for the EnWorld gathering and see a little of Indianapolis and the Con on Saterday then drive back Sat night. Darn you all. I had just come to terms with missing the event. All I can say is I better be able to get into a last miute pick up game.

I would like to say thanks to everyone for making this such a great place.

I have my plane tickets! I found a decent fare, and I'm good to go. I might even be able to stay for part of Clay's get-together on Sunday, as my flight isn't until 7:30 pm.
