Improved feint or not? - AE vs. DnD

Driddle

First Post
Why is an Improved Feint feat part of the D'n'D set -- allowing Bluff in combat as a move-equiv. action -- but M.Cook's Arc.Evolved, which tracks very closely to the d20 system, doesn't offer the same? Does it create a combat imbalance or something?

It is most useful with Sneak Attack and in AE you just don't have the sneak attacking machines like in regular d20. Another reason might be since it was based more off of 3.0 and that feat wasn't in the 3.0 core books. But this is just me guessing, only one man has these answers.

OK. Gonna have to gently dismiss this explanation, then. Because although the Unfettered class has a slower +d6 progession for dex-negating (sneak) attacks, the game does offer a couple of booster feats that build on that prep (not to mention multiclassing with an Akashic).

But still ... a decent suggestion. I just don't buy it.

Anyone else have an idea?
