Improved/Greater Combat Reflexes from Dungeon #100

Felon

First Post
In the Polyhedron section, on pages 22-23, there are two feats called Improved Combat Reflexes and Greater Combat Reflexes. The latter is intended to improve upon the former, but they convey the exact same benefits. The text is identical. Anyone know what the deal is there?

No, each says the exact same thing: "For any given opportunity in melee combat, you can make two attacks of opportunity. The second attack is at a -5 penalty, just like your second normal attack in any given round. You still cannot exceed your normal maximum number of attacks of opportunity in a round."

Like I said, the greater version is intended to build on the improved version, but it doesn't.

Maybe they couldn't decide what to name it, and decided to give us both options? :D

That gaffe aside, how do you like the rest of those feats? I thought most of them would make great options for high level fighters.

Against monsters with reach... *shudder*

Liked'em a lot! Great issue. Haven't regretted my subscription yet.

No, against PCs with Enlarge cast on them. If these feats stack, and possibly even if they don't then Enlarge will become the fighter buff of choice (+5 strength as well)

Enlarge doesn't change your Size category, so you don't gain Reach.

You want Polymorph Other or Righteous Might.
