Improving monsters...a little help?

This has always been a problem with me and I aim to get past it.


I want to take a Vrock from 10 HD to 15 HD..

What else goes up besides the hitpoints?

+5 BAB (outsiders have fighter BAB progression)
Increased Saves
Skill points (8 + Int mod) X 5
2 more feats (at 12 HD and 15 HD)
Becomes Huge (+8 str, -2 dex, +4 con, +3 natural armor, -1 AC, -1 Attacks)
Claw damage goes from 2d6 to 3d6
Bite damage goes from 1d8 to 2d6
Talon damage goes from 1d6 to 1d8

I think that's the jist of it.

On the BAB, where in the book does it give this info for future reference and where do I find what to make the saves.

You should read the ImprovingMonster.rtf file of the 3.5 SRD, you get everything in there.

Also, the info probably is in the Monster Manual (in the beginning)... that's where it was in the old MM (don't have 3.5)

The question marks are where I was uncertain, and I didn't even calculate the saves yet. Still confused there..

I think the Vrock's avarage HP would be 203.
The attacks look right BAB+15 Str+10 and -2 on secondary natural attacks.
Its saves are all base +9 so Fort +18 Ref +10 Will +12.
It should also gets 2 ability score increases (best chocies would be Con and Str).
The Stunning Screech DC becomes 26 (10 + 1/2 HD (8) + con mod (8)).
The Dance of Ruin and Telekinesis DCs becomes 21 (10 + 1/2 HD (8) + Cha Mod (3)).
Also make sure you added the right amount of skill points ((8+ 2 Int)x5 levels) or 50.

Thank you I forgot about that. So the attacks should be primary +23 /secondary +21 (or +24/+22 if he puts that point into Str).
Also I do not think his +8 Size Modifier to grapple was added either that should be a +33 (or +34 with Str boost).
 

Also now that I look at it I think his armor does not add up right either. I think it should be 24 (base 10 -2 size +1 Dex + 15 Natural (11 original +3 size increase)).
