Legend
David Onley, former Lieutenant Governor of Ontario and advocate for the rights of the disabled, has died at the age of 72. He is likely best known for his stint as a broadcaster at CITY-TV and CP-24 News in Toronto. He changed the face of Canadian broadcasting by being the first visibly disabled anchor of a national news channel. Having fought Polio as a child he was confined to an electric wheelchair, which he made sure was visible whenever he was on camera.
