Comic book artist and writer Keith Giffen (Legion of Super-Heroes, JLI, Ambush Bug) died yesterday of a stroke. He was 70.

One of my proudest moments as a kid (during the peak of his Justice League run), I gave Giffen directions to a McDonalds while sitting outside a comic convention. I've never been a gushing fan, so I don't know if he knew that I knew who he was. Just a guy asking directions, and I helped him out. I've always had a fondness for him. He'll be missed.
