He did cause vast harm, putting innocent people in prison, traumatizing children, destroying families, and ruining many, many lives. And he did it willfully, through a combination of pseudo-scientific thinking and religion, while steadfastly ignoring all evidence to the contrary of his self-serving agenda. And he profited off the harm he caused.
I have no qualms about speaking poorly of him. Screw that guy. He was a monster.
