The great thing about Kreskin is that he wasn't a fraud. He always made it clear he was a mentalist and not a psychic or someone else who derived their abilities from some supernatural force. i.e. He wasn't the like of fraudsters like John Edward, Theresa Caputo, or Uri Geller.

If I remember correctly he recorded his old show at the CFTO TV studios in Toronto. He was very clear about not being a psychic and was essentially a stage magician, specializing in Mentalism. The eulogized him on one of the local talk/news stations and the host who did so mentioned that when he asked Kreskin psychic style questions, he would just say, "No." and move on.
