The absolute genius of making the horn in the music spell out MI in Morse Code. I didn't get that until maybe 5 years ago. Flew right past me.

Loved his second run on Legion of Superheroes. He was EIC during the period when I most read work-for-hire comics. He made my boss a lot of money with Valiant comics. RIP

I have several issues of Valiant's revival of Magnus: Robot Fighter. But I remember Shooter from Marvel more than I do anywhere else.
