Reading that, I'm appalled. My wife gave birth in one of the top NJ hospitals for childbirth and I was still constantly afraid she'd have issues...

I have a close friend who is a NICU nurse and she always says to have the baby at a hospital. She was telling me horror stories of "birthing centers" where mothers and babies with complications die because they cannot get treatment in time.
