None of you will know who this is, but I have to let it out.

Linda Willis passed away yesterday afternoon, after a lengthy illness. Linda and her husband Mike were well known in the Canadian motorcycle racing community, as they were long time marshals. In fact there likely isn't a pro or amateur racer, sponsor, or racing photographer in the last 30 years who wasn't on a first name basis with them. They've picked up hundreds of people after they crashed. Linda stood by her husband through his heart transplant. She saved the life of a friend, a motorsports journalist and race announcer, via live donation of a kidney. The world is much poorer for the loss.

Thanks for sharing this. You're right that I don't know them, but I don't usually know most people on this thread. She's certainly not less important than anyone else!

John Nolan, the uncle of Christopher Nolan, died yesterday. He was 87.

He played the bad guy in Person of Interest that worked for the bad AI machine. He played it perfectly.
