Justin Fairfax, former Lieutenant Governor of Virginia, took his own life after he fatally shot his estranged wife Cerina Fairfax.

I don't know either person but the murder of his wife after reading of the suicide went from an initial sadness for a person reaching that level of despair to worse. Just caught me by surprise.

When I lived in LA I listened to a lot of sports talk radio back then. Garrett Anderson never was controversial; nor was he a mega star. He was a lunch-pail major leaguer who contributed greatly to his team's success. I don't recall many interviews with him; but glad he went on to join the announcing team.

Thoughts to his family, RIP.

I've had several memorable encounters with him over the years. Once I helped him carry and set up his booth in the GenCon dealers hall. He had great stories.
I'll be looking for the official story. This will be big news in my circle.
