Dr. McDonald's Office 12:51 It proves to be somewhat difficult to get Moira off the phone. She insists on chatting about how worried she is about Dr. Hadley, then continues on to thank you profusely and tell you that she just couldn't have called him herself. Finally, she can't let you go without a few minutes of mindless chit chat. For a woman who is reputed to be quiet in person, she has the phone personality of a switch-board operator. When he finally gets finished with the conversation, it's been almost 30 minutes since she called. He locates the number in his rolodex. He picks up the phone, then dials the number before putting the receiver to his ear. The phone rings once... The Hadleys' 12:51 As the girls finally make it the back door, the phone begins to ring. Cynthia shoves the key in the lock before she has time to realize that the glass has been shattered on the back door. She swings the door open even as she realizes it, but by then' it's too late. There is broken glass on the floor, where the pane fell to the cozy rug. They have a straight view to the front door, but other than the glass, nothing seems amiss. The phone and answering machine sit on the kitchen counter, just to their left. Cynthia looks to Sharrel, "You'd better get the phone. I'll check the house. Have whoever is on the other end of the phone dial 912. I don't want us to be out of contact..." Cynthia rushes off.
