[OOC: The boards are finally back up. About time, too.] Shane does a quick mental rundown of his schedule. He doesn't keep a scheduler or one of those gadgety Palms, but he keeps good track of things in his head. His only class today was in the morning, and he doesn't have any appointments this afternoon. He was going to spend the day working on a paper, and running down a few sources concerning a Babylonian idol he inherited from his father. He thinks it may be one of the pieces that went missing from the Kabul museum. Too bad the government is so intolerant: it may not be possible to return the piece. Nothing's particularly urgent about either of those. In fact, the most urgent business he has today is with Kathryn, and he doesn't mind putting that off a bit. Shane says, "I d-don... don't mind coming, Richard. I'll meet you around b-ba-ba...ck, in the parking lot." As he hangs up the phone, he checks his legal pad: 912 EMERGENCY Hadley - Break in No answer Campus Police - Richard Meeks Going over Shane stands, pulling on the overcoat he had just taken off during his conversation with Moira. It seemed very warm then for some reason. He tears the sheet out of his legal pad, folds it carefully, and places it in his pocket. Leaving his briefcase where it is, he locks the door behind him as he leaves.
