In the Valus - The Heroes of Marchford (Chapter 14 Continues - 12/24/08)

As long is it includes that chance encoutner in the forest then I am happy. Of course I we found/purchased that shield and dagger which plays a role later so you might want to mention that.

Okay, I will stop telling you how to write your story hour.

And yes I am still reading.

Oh and just a little insight into my character, Rorn change there names quite frequently. Motega kept his first name but changed his surnames several times usually with the -kun (meaning killer or destroyer) attached. I think at this point I am Magik-kun because I killed some wizard. I was Dwem-kun for killing the dark dwarves and I think I settled on Culi-kun for Culite killer.

For a second there...I had to think What chance encounter??? After which point I promptly smacked myself in the forehead. We'll get to that...no fears there...its a major point (in my interpretation).

And the dagger will be mentioned...as well as the shield when we get to Minetown. That's where I'll have some naughty triple x-rated dagger-on-shield-action. :D If for some reason it sounds like I'm confused on the dagger-shield reference...feel free to send me a smack upside the forehead via email.

Nice to see you made a little time to catch up...I know how busy you've been.

5,000 Views!!!!!

Just browsing through the Story Hour forum...and what did I notice??

We've made it to 5,000 views!!! Woot!

Yes...this is just a thinly disguised bump. After all, you can never have too many views ;)

Another Good Update...

Another good update once again.

Skipping his first fireball, sniff-sniff.
Important factoid to be noted is that of Magnus's nightly ritual of scroll writing.
When asked by his gruff warrior friends, the only response "We will need it one day."

The shield and dagger I assume to be the admanite dagger and Lord Kevan's shield right?
You know Magnus really liked that shield.

Magnus's torturing of the Dark Elf, showed his more callous side to the Heroes. It is something that could make one wonder what he was truely capable of. I think Tobias even secretly Paladin-sighted him just to make sure I hadn't fallen to the dark side. It is also one of the reasons Fitz, constantly worries about the young mage's mental facilities being intact.

Also, on that first fireball. Magnus only referred to it as his new 'boom-boom' spell, not really informing the others of it. So you can imagine their suprise when their call for a Magic Missile support turns into fireball support. Motega had a small talk with me about his singed eyebrows (lucky for him, and Magnus, he had evasion).

Whats up with the TM on the Flying Halfling Nun?

aka Magnus the Mad Mage (everyday a little of his sanity escapes)

1. You'll be alright...I skipped your cherry-popping first fireball...realizing there was more boom-boom goodness coming.

2. That is what I assumed as well. And I think we picked both up underground...although I might be wrong about that...and it doesn't really matter because it'll be in our inventory when I/we get to Minetown.

3. Nope...I didn't detect evil....Tobias always worried what he would find....so he tried not to include you within his detects....not very paladin-like of him, probably...but neither is torturing prisoners....darker paladin for a darker world.

4. I figured we should Trademark "Flying Halfling Nun" since that was the only thing we could ever refer to that bit of railroading as. We never had her name. We never saw her again. Quite the pain-in-the-ass. And now, its a trademarked pain-in-the-ass.

:D

Wasn't it around this time Magnus found his robe? It was a Robe of Protection versus Good +2. Magnus wore it easy enough. Had a nice Grinning Skull on the back.

hehe...it was around this time...and you decided to keep it....and if Tobias ever asked why you (or your robe) were detecting evil, your prepared answer was: When they were enchanting the robe, the magic backfired slightly...it's nothing to worry about.

But you never had anything to worry about from good ol' Toby...some of my other characters though...hehe.
