I will chime in here and say that Motega's guerilla tactics and duel with the dwem leader were edge of the seat die chucking at its finest. I think I said earlier that it takes one of my companions to drop before I start rolling well. With three of them down, Destan must have thought they were loaded.
Fune's telling is much more dramatic and better IMO, that duel was a slugfest with both of us quaffing potions and then getting smaked so as the next blow would have been final.
I finally gave up and went for it instead of wastign a round drinking aniother potion. Natural 20 and a confirmed crit.
Destan stopped doing the dance of joy and just told us all to get out at that point, I think.

Welcome and thanks Oaxacan Warrior, I appreciate it. Happycat does too. Tonight is game night and its going to be Roleplaying Intensive as opposed to our Roll-playing Intensive Standard. We've come to a point where we have so many threads and no answers and we have to figure out where to go next. Should be an easy night for Destan. I won't say anything else to prevent thwarting my own writing attempt here...but lots and lots of stuff is yet to come.
