D&D 3E/3.5 Incubus in 3.5e?

Now, what did you want said Incubus to accomplish?

Drain Life?
Make half fiends?
Tanuki-like control over its anatomy?

This time, basically, I was just looking for some alternative demon for an encounter. So if the stats and combat abilities were interesting enough, I would have tried.

But if you ask me what kind of Incubus I want in general ...... well, handsome, cunning, dangerous seducer & corrupter. Maybe producer of Cambion, too. Not something violently rape women. Something my female (otaku) players may appreciate ;)

Conflicting editing I suspect was the culprit. Wotc, having oversight over the magazines to my understanding, mangled some Paizo published Dragon Magazine articles before, notably the Dark Sun Article.

IIRC, while WotC had oversight of the magazines, it was Paizo's own Erik Mona who was responsible for the changes to Dave Noonan's Dark Sun articles.

Sounds like you want a White haired bishounen. Since there is only one of that breed I find tolerable, I'd recommend using some of Yoshitako Amono's depictions of Elric of Melniboné to base your descriptions on or maybe print out to show your players.

It is the colour of a bleached skull, his flesh; and the long hair which flows below his shoulders is milk-white. From the tapering, beautiful head stare two slanting eyes, crimson and moody, and from the loose sleeves of his yellow gown emerge two slender hands, also the colour of bone, resting on each arm of a seat which has been carved from a single, massive ruby.

Elric of Melniboné (1972)

Classic depiction
Crux'ed with skull codpiece:-S

Granted, if mini selection is important, slapping a set of wings on Reaper Miniatures's Grazzt stand in might be easy enough, though i think it is a big mini.

*Isn't calling an associate "otaku" kinda harsh?

Thanks for the clarification.

Green Ronin's Book of Fiends (back in print [on demand] now, I believe) contains an Incubus, distinct from the male Succubus variety. Clocks in at CR 9, he does. . . I'd actually beef 'im up a bit, so's to meet parties of appropriate (or appropriately inappropriate) level(s). But some cool abilities and stuff.

Great book for fiendish [3.5e] material in general, IMO. Has the LE guys, the CE things, and the NE whatsits too. Oh, and the Unholy Warrior class, plus a few other things.

The Incubus for 3.5E D&D is on page 33 of Dragon Magazine issue #353, March 2007. It's a CR 3 fiend, near the end of the Demonomicon of Iggwilv article on Malcanthet, queen of the succubi.

If you are looking for an NPC concept check out Ravenloft's Gentleman Caller. Stats for him can be found in the Ravenloft fanzine Quoth the Raven #7. The article provides 4 different versions of his supposed 3e stats. Normal incubus (i.e male SRD succubus), advanced incubus, incubus with some sorcerer levels and advanced incubus with some sorcerer levels
