Indian Based Campaign

WotC used to have a small download which described an Indian style campaign. Does anyone remember the name of this download and where I can find it? I have searched WotC's website with no luck. Thanks.

it is the web enhancement for Oriental Adventures... look there.

Mahasapara (spelling?)

for an interesting addition, look in my signature for Geisha class... which I have entered a little extra info for adapting to that setting (last page of that document).

Yep. Definitely check out Sahasra -- just be aware that it's Indian-inspired fantasy, not actual historical Indian roleplay.

It should be noted that all of the books in the series with Sahasra (Baba Yaga etc) were all written to be compatible with the core rules and thus use those classes and conventions. However, taking the info in Sahasra its not that hard to adapt other WotC and non-Wotc material to create a customized class list that would be more "Indian" in flavor.

There is also Green Ronin's Mindshadows Campaign setting, a D&D 3.0 psionics setting with heavy India influence. It has a monster book called Monsters of the Mind IIRC.

I'm glad you've liked it. Donna Fitch has put a lot of energy into designing the core book and her .pdf on Hinduism. Also, Sean Frolich's artwork I find to be really enjoyable... but I'm biased. ;)
