[Inner Circle] The Avadnu Primer

I know a lot of people are waiting for this if all the emails and questions I receive via message boards are any indication. While we don't have a release on the Avadnu Primer yet, work on the book has begun once again in earnest and we have posted 9 pieces of artwork from the Primer on our website. I'm writing a new blog entry now which will explain the format and where we are going with the Inner Circle in the coming months. This will kick of a series of weekly updates to our website (I know, finally). Check it out!

A setting's map is always very important to me.
The map in the gallery looks nice. Is there a chance that:
a) there'll be a color version in the primer and we can get a preview of that?
b) a bigger version of the map (color or not) could be made available, so it's easier to look at the details?

Yes to both questions. The map you are looking at is only in the rough stages so it will be colored. It measures 18" x 24", so there will be a poster of it available. The poster may come with the book, but we're still figuring out how all that will work.

In any case, there will be a large version of the map made available for download. This is only our first preview gallery and you'll see the map as it progresses in future installments. We may even make working on the map its own feature and catalog the process step by step on our website. We'll see...

I can tell you it will be the best body of work by far that we have ever produced. Whether it lives up to Conan or not, I'll let everyone else decide.

BTW, what is up with the title for that Conan book? Holy cow. You think they could have shortened that up just a tad? Shesh!

Excellent news! Good to know that Inner Circle is back to Avandu, one of best d20 setting IMHO (The Denizens was a wonderful piece of art and campaign ideas). I can't wait for the Primer
