Inner Sea Campaign Setting book

They layout is better, the nation maps for each nation was very well done this time. I think it is a better book and has more stuff in it. For me it was worth it, but I can't say for sure for someone else. I mean the stuff I thought was a nice upgrade for someone else might not be important.

There is stuff in the old book that is still relevant that did not get transferred over so the old book may still have some use for your game depending on how deep into the game world you get.

I got it in the mail today. Lovely book. I was glad to see a world map, albeit a simple one. Haven't had a chance to really bit into it but my first impression is very positive (unsurprisingly!).

I've said it elsewhere: I think this is my favorite Paizo book yet. Gorgeous layout, tons of tasty fluff and crunch, everything seems sharpened up. I love having a map for each area, and while four pages per nation doesn't sound like much, there's plenty to get the mind wandering about what adventures you might put in a particular place. I could understand why a non-PF player might not want to drop $40 on the hard copy, but at $10 for the PDF, I think it belongs in the collection of every RPG gamer even if they don't play with this system. It's that good.
