Has a nice Warhammer meets Ravenloft flavor. Also reminiscent of Homelands.

Shame all that creative juice was spent on a CCG set [or 3]. That is the second MTG block that would have made a must purchase RPG setting for me ( first was Kamigawa ).

Zendikar and Ravnica both made excellent settings for campaign-arcs in a plane-hopping game. My players were particularly fond of Zendikar because -- in the words of one player -- it "keeps you on your toes when the trouble comes not from the creatures, but from the hill they're running around on".

This was shortly after a mountain-side tried to kill them as a kind of sentient landslide. :)

Unfortunately in Brazil, a booster is between R$10-R$15. A Deck is R$50. A Duel Deck is R$ 75 and the old ones are around R$100.
A RPG book is from R$55 (Translated Adventures) to R$79 (Translated core books). An english supplement (Draconomicon for exemple) has cost me R$90.
My lunch is R$10 and I lunch in college twice a week. Or I would. I rather save my money to my nerd ends, but Between Innistrad and Dungeons & Dragons... things are getting ugly.

What would you guys do?

Save my money. If money supplies were that low that it is a choice between gaming books or a cafeteria lunch, money is being put away and I'm not letting anyone know about it. Gaming books are a luxury item and belong far down on the priority list.

I'd also distance myself from any friends and associates who view cash as a communal asset.

Okay, maybe I made it sound like I don't have financial ways to eat. It's not like that. My parents just won't give me any money to my entertainment ends as they think I should focus my whole day at my college subjects. So, as I already eat much because of my training, I use my lunch money to buy my entertainment.

ON TOPIC: Innistrad is just the way I like it. I mean... the theme itself is so beautiful! Just like New Phyrexia
