Inspired Daredevil (Factotum/Swashbuckler feat)

Just for fun I came up with this feat to combine some aspects of Factotums and Swashbucklers.

Inspired Daredevil

Prerequisites: Insightful Strike as class feature, Inspiration as class feature

Your factotum and swashbuckler levels stack for the purpose of determining your competence bonus on Reflex saves from the grace class feature and the swashbuckler's dodge bonus to AC. The competence bonus from your Cunning Insight stacks with the competence bonus gained from Grace. Your factotum and swashbuckler levels also stack for determining your Inspiration Point total and the Factotum's insight bonus from Cunning Knowledge. In addition your Insightful Strike is now effective against targets immune to Sneak Attack or critical hits, but you can no longer use the Cunning Insight class feature to gain a competence bonus to damage.

Perhaps a bit OP, but that's to compensate for not reaching certain capstone abilities.

I dig Factotums. Swashbucklers are pretty sweet, and make a great 3 level dip for melee characters.

I'm not sure how one would multiclass these two together. For me, access to the 7th level spells is fantastic.

Could you show me a good Factotum/Swashbuckler build and what it would be designed to do?

One intent is to provide a Factotum with a great Dex-based build that doesn't take as much of a hit for dipping, and in fact can actually come out ahead in melee combat. Another intent is to bring the Swashbuckler up a tier and put his Int to use better.

Randomly, an extra I thought about upon looking at the Daring feats is flavor text would read "You combine agility and cunning to great effect."

As for how they multiclass, I believe this paragraph straight from the Swashbuckler description pulls both classes together.

WotC said:
The swashbuckler embodies the concepts of daring and panache. Favoring agility and wit over brute force, the swashbuckler excels both in combat situations and social interactions, making her a versatile character indeed.

Notice the italicized part? That concept is something a Factotum can most certainly exemplify. In fact, combining both classes kicks that concept up to 11.

Most any build that has Factotum 3+/Swashbuckler 3+ will kick butt. The combination of Brains Over Brawn, Cunning Insight, Cunning Knowledge, and Insightful Strike are quite flavorful and potentially powerful.

Perhaps I'm playing it up too much, but I think the concept is quite promising. I've got a build idea in mind for a PbP game I could join, and I'll post it here once I've made it.
