Instantly Destroyed?

In the beginning of the Monster Manual (page 10), it reads that a creature with no constitution is immune to anything that requires a fortitude save unless the effects work on objects. At the end of the the paragraph it also says that the creature always fails constitution checks.

Does this mean that spells like disintegrate spells would kill a golem (example) with no save?

Or does this mean that any skill that uses con. bonuses as a modifier are automatically failed?

Does anyone know? Please post.

The Golem is allowed a save ; only Constitution checks are failed automatically. A Fortitude save and a Constitution check are two different things.

Dont forget golems are pretty much immune to ALL spells.

As far as Con check skills theres only one Concentration and only Undead would really need to use it. They use thier Cha as a modifier.
