Instead of Serenity, you saw...

Well, looks like Serenity is going the way of the Island if things keep up like this.

Since the majority of people saw other films, what did you see in the last two weeks?

I don't go to the movies often but decided to take the old madre out to see Corpse Bride. My girlfriend is a big fan of Wallace and Gromitt, so that's on this weekend's schdule.

I actually haven't seen a movie in a few weeks.

Then again, I borrowed the Firefly box from a friend of mine, and only watched the first disk. After a few months, he asked for it back.

I guess it just didn't catch me. I'd like to rent them and watch them again, and then I'd love to watch Serenity on DVD, but I can't get excited to go see it as is. I guess I don't completely understand all the hullaballo about that show. It wasn't bad, but I don't know why everyone raves so much either.

I went and saw Wallace and Grommit. Smashing movie.

I wouldn't mind seeing Serenity in the theatre, but I want to watch the TV show first, so that probably won't be happening.

Movies cost too much. Even with the matinee. And there are, like... other people there harshing my mellow. And the seats are uncomfortable. And other Old Man complaints.

Last movie we saw was Batman Begins. Next was supposed to be Sky High, but we didn't make it with time + money. Next panned to go to with much anticipation is Doom.

The last movie I saw was Serenity. It was the third time I saw it. I will try to get some friends together to see Wallace and Gromit this weekend, but I doubt I get any takers. I will probably see Doom when it comes out.

Interesting that we in the small group that's responded so far that they've seen Serenity multiple times.

Is it just a RPG thing or ? The reality does not reflect this crowd yet.

I saw Corpse Bride instead. It was the first film I'd seen in the theater in over a year. Considered Serenity, but the showtimes were bad for our 'babysitting' window.

I feel the way way. I've seen Firefly on TV a few times and I though it was OK, but it just didn't grab me like some shows do. I keep seeing people raving about Serenity so I'll see it when it comes out on DVD, but I'm not compeled to go out and see it in the theater. A movie really has to be great to get me to the theater these days. The last one I saw in the theater was RoTS. There's such a quick turn around on theatrical release to DVD realese, that in most cases I feel like I can wait 3-4 months and view it in the comfort of my own home.
