It's impressive work. I fear it will be made redundant, or overulled, by Urban Arcana, but that is still far enough off that this is a useful tool for people who want to start right now with bringing D&D characters over to d20 Modern.

Not to worry, if Urban Arcana makes it into the MSRD I'll just revise Classically Modern to encompass the additions. In the mean time, CM is d20 OGL.:)

Second World

Second World, by Second World Simulations, has a whole chapter on the subject (which is pretty good), for those interested. But it's always good to see (free) fan-made work. ;)

Update

Work includes changing the D20 Modern advanced classes to use talent trees, shortening the D&D classes to 10 levels and moving all of their class abilities and FX (magic) use into talent trees.

Recent changes include

Formatting Changes
Corrected Fogues Saves
Renamed "Magic" entro on classes to "FX"
Moved Focus feats from "Bonus Feats" to "FX"
Merged Mystical Sharp Shooter into Mystical Warrior because
classes where too similar
Moved some of the qualification requirements from the Mystical
Warrior to the specific talent trees
Fixed skill points to include human bias
Minor changes to the wording of some of the FX talent Trees
Changed formatting for Talent Tree summary tables
Added a table of contents

Some work still remains to de done, but check the free download at

Note that this is still a work in progress, so any comments, complaints, suggestions, requests, feel free to email me at
