Well, I'm never attempting to run a superhero game in these forums. The GM's all seem to just stop post on ENWorld at some point.

Happens to other games too. There's just so many fewer superhero games that the ratio is more painfully apparent, I think.

A D&D game dies on the wire, we just shrug and move on to one of the other dozen opening up.

There are long running D&D campaigns. There is no long running supers game. Correct me if I'm wrong.

There aren't any currently, no. There's been a few in the past.

But yeah, sample size. If the fail rate of games in general is 90% and 100 D&D games start and 1 supers game starts...well...there we go.

I have the same problem with science fiction games.

It's a fantasy-dominated genre, is all. Not that that makes it any better or easier to see happen.
