Interest in Delaware/MidAtlantic Gameday?

I would be interested, and depending on location and timing I might even be able to run a short Top Secret/SI or Villains and Vigilantes mission.... :) (Old School for the win?)

Stupid question: I see these Gamedays listed all the time, but I've never exactly known what a gameday is. Can you define it please?
(And if it sounds interesting, I could possibly make it.)

They are a group of gamers getting together and playing games. From other threads they can vary from a few gamers getting together and playing a few games for a day (or weekend) to a mini-convention.

If I can arrange to get the game club associated with the store for the day then I'm pretty sure it can handle up to 5 tables of RPGs. Maybe more, but noise becomes a bigger issue then (there are two rooms). The big issue is the 11-2 Yu-Gi-Oh game that runs on Saturdays.

Im interested and I have a friend or two that would probably venture north from way down here in the southern part of the state.....lol.

Also, Bret Boyd, freelancer extraordinaire has mentioned on his blog that he shops at Days of Knights and might want to pop down as well.

Sure, I'd be interested but my availability is sketchy.

One thought has crossed my mind. I was a patron of all of Wolfgang Baur's Open Design projects. I could be talked into running a section of one of the adventures for this (Steam & Brass jumps out as appropriate, since it's very limited).

I'm probably going to be pretty busy until Octoberish, so I'd say any time after the 6th of October except for 27 October, since that's the MD/DC/VA Gameday in DC proper.

Thoughts on a location yet?

I'm 99% sure it will be at the Day of Knights. I haven't talked to John yet, but with sufficient notice it wouldn't be a problem. With a smallish group, I'm certain I could get Between Books (North Wilmington). Their playing area has only room for about 2 tables, so it would have to be an limited group for there.

More interest here too, depending on date and time.
It might be a bit of a jaunt for some of you, but there's probably going to be a DC/MD/VA gameday on 27 October. We will, however, welcome residents of any state, except Alaska.

...and maybe even Alaskans, if it comes down to it.
